1 Scope
1.1 This standard gives conversion factors and conversion tables covering units of foot-pound system and units of weight of Indian origin and the metric units. The standard has been compiled with the specific object to assist trade and industry, government departments, engineers technologists, scientists students and others interested in quick and accurate inter-conversion of quantities.
