ORDER

 

New Delhi, the 22nd August, 2005

 

S.O. 1172(E). -   In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 1986 (63 of 1986), the Central Government after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards hereby makes following further amendments in the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion) number S.O.  189(E), dated the 17th February, 2003, namely: -

 

1.   (1)     This Order may be called the Electrical Wires, Cables, Appliances and Protection Devices and Accessories (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2005.

 

      (2)     It shall come into force after eighteen months from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

 

2.   In the Electrical Wires, Cables, Appliances and Protection Devices and Accessories (Quality Control) Order, 2003, after serial number 7 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall respectively be substituted namely: -
