TBT Notifications

As an obligation under the Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT Agreement) of World Trade Organisation (WTO), member countries of the WTO are required to report to the WTO, all proposed technical regulations that could affect trade with other Member countries. The WTO Secretariat distributes this information in the form of "TBT Notifications" to all Member countries.

Interested stakeholders may access TBT Notifications from Documents Online from WTO website http://www.wto.org . Alternatively, TBT Notifications may be accessed directly by clicking on the following hyperlink,

However, some salient guidance is given below: The following fields may be filled up as given below: Document symbol: G/TBT/N* The fields for the ‘Countries’ and ‘Products’ and the ‘Posting date’ for the Notification may also be filled up as required. On clicking on the Search Button , the Notifications for the desired products and countries issued by countries as per the date of posting of TBT Notifications are listed on the screen. If required, more detailed Search may be made as per guidance available on the ADVANCED SEARCH screen.
